Father, may I rest in the knowledge that You always keep Your promises. Help me to learn from the example of Abraham to be unwavering in my faith as I seek to give glory to You.  When I am weak and unsteady, thank you for being Faithful and True. 

Look to the Lord and his strength;
    seek his face always. (1 Chronicles 16:11 NIV)

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,  because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:2-4 NIV)
