A Reminder for Those Who Hurt

No matter what trials we face,

What heartaches we experience,

What darkness we endure,

If we have made a decision to live for Jesus Christ, we have supernatural resources.

We have hope:

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain (Hebrews 6:19).

We can have peace:

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you (Isaiah 26:3).

We can have perspective:

Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life (John 5:24).

We belong to Christ and cannot be lost:

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13).

Oh, hurting friend, you have purpose, hope, and a future. The Creator of all holds you in His hand. Lean on Him. Rest in Him. Trust in His timing.
