Give Thanks

fallglory2019aa

I will exalt you, my God the King;
    I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Every day I will praise you
    and extol your name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts (Psalm 145:1-4).

Have a beautiful season of Thanksgiving and praise!

Joyfully,

Leigh Ann 🙂

Merry Christmas!

Gift Rapt1

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end (Isaiah 9:6-7).

Have a blessed Holy Season as you worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Fall Arrival

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
     Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.
 Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his;
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.
 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.

(Psalm 100)

Happy Thanksgiving from Heart Undivided! Have a blessed week in worship of the One Who gives all good things.

Joyfully,

Leigh Ann 🙂

A Time to Celebrate!

After almost two years of writing, praying, editing, waiting, and more praying, it’s time to have a party! You are invited to a celebration of praise to the One Who made it all possible.

The beautiful pictures are some of the giveaways at the party. All you have to do is attend (online!) and enjoy the fun. There will be wedding trivia, shared memories, and excerpts from Ribbons, Lace, and Moments of Grace.

I am forever grateful to these dear loved ones for their contributions to the event. These writers and artists are incredibly talented and I encourage you to check out their links.  Continue reading

Joy in Unexpected Places

Today, I have the privilege of guest-posting on Jean Wilund’s website, Join the Journey. Jean has a beautiful passion for the Lord and a gift for sharing His Word.

“If you’re looking to fall in love with God Jean Blog Photoand His Word and see it make a difference in your life, you’re in the perfect place. That’s my goal, too. Let’s do it together.” —Jean Wilund

Jean is also a fellow football fan 🙂 (Although I’m a tad concerned about the NC State VS. Clemson game coming up…yes, she’s a Tiger’s fan)

So, when you get a chance, hop on over to Join the Journey! Check out Football, Fireworks, and a Big Green Piano, then hang around with Jean and soak up come GREAT Bible teaching.

Have a blessed day and GO PANTHERS! (and WOLFPACK!)

Sweet Autumn

fall maple

Ah, autumn in the South. Is there anything more wonderful?

Cool mornings, warm afternoons.

Cotton fields.

Bright yellow mums.

Pumpkins.

Sugar maples and red maples displaying their glory.

Football (Oops, sorry. Don’t know how that slipped into the list…).

thG3BT0F8NI am loving these beautiful days. But in the midst of this autumn-joy, there is a sense of heaviness. This old world is just not quite…right.

Do you feel it?

Is the surrounding beauty diminished because of worry, anxiety, or hardship?

May I share the verses that comfort me when stress threatens to steal my joy?

Psalm 19:1-6

IMG_8289

The heavens declare the glory of God;
    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
 Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.
 They have no speech, they use no words;
    no sound is heard from them.
 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
     It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
    like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
 It rises at one end of the heavens
    and makes its circuit to the other;
    nothing is deprived of its warmth.

Thank you, Father, for the beauty of Your creation. Thank you for drawing us into worship—not of what You have made—but of You. You are beautiful, glorious, and almighty. We praise Your Holy Name!
